Garland GFIR36CM Description
Because it is mounted on 4-inch legs, the Garland GFIR36CM salamander broiler can be set on a counter near the range. Its infrared elements can brown foods, caramelize crusts, or melt cheese. Instead of adjusting the rack to change the heat, users must only turn the high/low valves on the front. The rack is stationary in height and can be tilted to monitor foods. For employee safety, this unit turns off gas flow if the pilot goes out. It is powered by LP gas and should be placed beneath a hood to remove grease-filled vapors from the kitchen.
