To guide ice throughout the unit, the Ice-O-Matic CIM1446HW/B1000-48 ice maker with bin uses Harvest Assist technology. The bin holds 1,000 pounds of ice and operates on a first-in, first-out basis to ensure ice is fresh when used. Its heavy-duty door can be opened with a single hand when employees are busy, and it stays open while the interior is accessed to prevent it from slamming and causing injury. For corrosion resistance, the bin has a poly liner, and the exterior is made of durable stainless steel.

The Ice-O-Matic CIM1446HW/B1000-48 half-cube ice machine with bin has a dual exhaust and operates with a water-cooled, self-contained condenser. Its evaporator is nickel plated for durability, and to inhibit the growth of microbes, the unit is protected with PURE ICE antimicrobial. Descaling and sanitizing measures are controlled with the push of a button, and to expedite cleaning, the foodzone is made of plastic that can be wiped clean. For monitoring, its LED display screen provides status updates.
