The Ice-O-Matic MFI1506A ice maker head is a great choice for supermarkets and delicatessens because it produces flake ice--a small ice form well suited for handling packaging needs in refrigerated display cases. It can also be used in hospitals for the formation of ice packs. Under ideal conditions, the head is capable of producing as much as 1,450 pounds of ice a day, enabling it to keep up with sizable ice production needs.

The Ice-O-Matic MFI1506A ice machine is constructed with a stainless steel evaporator and auger, meaning both components are durable and long lasting to hold up well against potential rust, corrosion, and scratching. A built-in water sensor detects when water is low in order to circumvent low water failure, and if problems arise, the head's SystemSafe feature will deactivate it.
