Garland GFIR48M Description

The Garland GFIR48M salamander broiler has a 47¹/₄-inch-wide flue, so it can be mounted on top of Garland's 48-in. ranges. Its 31-inch-wide broiler is mounted in the center of the flue, so it is accessible from either end. A single fixed rack holds food for finishing or plates for warming under infrared lights. These infrared burners provide high or low heat depending on the valves' settings. While foods are finishing, loose sediment may fall off, so a large, removable grease pan under the rack catches particulate for swift cleaning. This unit is heated by LP gas and requires a hood to catch its grease-filled vapors, moving them out of the kitchen.
